Five Things to Check Before Booking
This is the list that separates good accommodation near the airport from the kind where at two in the morning you will be searching in vain for someone to let you in.
- Arrival window versus landing time. This is the most common problem. An apartment has a set arrival window, for example from 15:00 to 24:00. If your plane lands at 23:40 you technically fit into that window, but with zero margin for a delay. Tell your host before you pay for the booking.

M. R. Štefánik Airport is connected to the city by public transport, taxi and car. For a guest staying on the eastern side of the city, the most important service is bus 61, which runs from the airport to the Main Railway Station and picks up most of eastern Bratislava along the way.

- You are arriving by car just for one night before your flight: compare the cost of the long-term car park for the whole trip with accommodation that includes parking. On a longer holiday the difference is noticeable.

The SADBA Apartment: What an Air Traveller Gets Out of It
If you are looking for accommodation on this side of the city, the SADBA apartment is on Ivánska cesta, the street that bus 61 follows from the airport to the Main Railway Station; the Ivanská cesta stop is the sixth stop from the terminal. For an air traveller, these are the things that matter most:
- Free dedicated parking right on the premises, with no need to book a space.
- Self-service arrival: you collect the keys from the security desk, and the apartment has a private entrance and lift access.
